Winter Greetings,
The sun is returning one minute earlier a day. We have met the dark and conquered or released our fears. It is time for new beginnings and creating the next phase of our lives as we are experiencing New Moon on Christmas Eve. Let the Light shine into the dark, enjoy the fresh pine permeating the air in our homes decorated with boughs and may the Christ in each of us be reunited with the Truth.
Now bring on the Frankincense, Myrrh and Gold we are in the presence of the Light! May it illuminate our hearts and guide our way into 2012!
Warm Blessings,
Teresa

Green Comfort is grateful for your patronage and support.
We are creating new opportunities for classes, events and experiences which will educate, empower and sustain us as individuals seeking to become whole, healthy and self-sustaining. Several new offerings include an entire Wild-Crafting and Cooking Program. This will enable us to seek, harvest and create food and medicine through the growing season.
We are also offering a class in Stone Masonry being taught at Green Comfort by a talented local stone mason. This will be an opportunity to learn how to use the irregular local stone to build beautiful and functional retaining walls. Using the local field stone you will learn to successfully create stone structures to enhance your landscape; and experience the physical and mental benefits gained in using stone to sculpt your environment. Be prepared to see rocks differently after this class.
Exciting new Clinical Lecture Series begins in July. Topics include natural approaches to health care for chronic disease, such as Parkinson’s, Diabetes, Fibromyalgia, Arthritis, Lyme and Menopause. These are open to the public and will be announced in the updated website soon.
Clinic will also benefit form another teacher/acupuncturist and five element expert for the Clinical 1 Series, beginning in July and continuing through December offered on Saturdays.
Student Clinical Practicum will remain on Thursdays to see clients and maintain the apothecary.
Again, we appreciate those of you who drive to beautiful Rappahannock to come see us, study, learn, create and celebrate life. For all those in distant places thank you for checking in with us on what is new and happening here with our programs, books, dvds and lectures. We are looking forward to seeing many more of you in 2012, if not in person perhaps you will send us a note to let us know what you are creating in your communities.
Winter is for brewing soups, teas, and new ideas for the new year.
For those of you who have set your intentions on incorporating herbal wisdom into your lives. Green Comfort invites you to come and learn.
